Coastal Carolina Sprint out and 3 step game
The Coastal Carolina 3 step and sprint game is very efficient. I don't know the percentage but when they call it they seem to complete these routes quite often. They run different route concepts from different sets.
Below, they stack on both sides. They run a nice cover 2 beater and the qb reads the curl defender walling and throws a nice sit route to the outside to #2.
The route to the bottom with the out and post corner is a route you will see from them often. It is a very good man beater and also good against cover 3 and zone coverage. It is also a highly effective route vs press quarters.
In the diagram below, qb reads pressure and throws into the fire zone. The inside release by #1 makes it tough on the curl flat defender and they get a nice completion to the bottom of the screen.
Sprint Game
They will sprint out and run similar route concepts as everyone else
Below they run a smash concept
#1 wr- 5 yard hitch
#2 wr -12 yard post corner route
The next sprint concept is out of the same formation.
They run a switch concept where the wr switch at 7 yards. The inside guy goes outside and the outside guy goes inside.
They attack vertically then 1 and 2 switch. The #2 wr goes outside the #'s and #1 attacks the hash.
